June 30, 2024, Jakarta — Out of 85 teams from over 30 schools nationwide, 45 teams participated in the eagerly anticipated Indonesia MBS E-Case Competition after a month of online training. On June 30, following a day of intense competition, the Econolose team from Diponegoro University (Undip University) emerged victorious, winning not only the competition but also airfare and accommodation for the 2024 International MBS Competition to be held in Thailand on September 7-8.
This competition, a prominent annual event within Indonesia’s university business schools, aims to enhance students’ problem-solving abilities in business scenarios. After a month of online training, 45 teams advanced to the finals, vying for the championship.
Econolose distinguished itself in the competition with an excellent presentation, in-depth analysis, and outstanding teamwork. Their flexibility in addressing business challenges and the uniqueness of their solutions garnered unanimous praise from the judges and impressed the audience.
Additionally, the TANAH Team from BINUS University claimed the runner-up title, while the A-Company team from UPN “Veteran” Jakarta secured third place. Both teams demonstrated remarkable business insights and solution capabilities, adding to the competitive atmosphere of the event.
