On June 1, 2023, the MBS competition organized by the International Association of Business Management Simulation (IABMS) took place at the Hong Kong Metropolitan University. The event began with an opening speech by President Ren Lizhong of the National Taipei University of Business, followed by a welcome address from Prof. Bordin, former dean of Kasetsart University Thailand. After a full day of intense competition, which involved a mix of online and offline hybrid battles, eight teams advanced to the second stage presentation round. These teams consisted of three from Hong Kong, three from Taiwan, one from Vietnam, and one from Thailand.

Champion: HKU NPV – The University of Hong Kong
1st Runner-Up: HKU Midas – The University of Hong Kong
2nd Runner-Up: HKUST GO AHEAD – Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
A total of 74 teams registered for the competition, with 65 teams actually participating from 31 universities and eight countries or regions, including Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and India.
Thailand has officially announced that they will host the global competition at Kasetsart University on September 6 next year, aiming to attract the participation of 15-20 countries. They extend a warm welcome to everyone to meet in Bangkok next year!
